That was a good idea because it highlighted the possibility that instrumental music can generate popular hits. In the spirit of glorious futility which infuses everything we do, we produced this 7” single, using an edited version of the foot-stomping bebop of David Murray’s Ninno (named after a friend’s recently deceased dog) and 5 Minute Joint, a slice of futuristic funk\/jazz we originally thought would not fit on the Plumb box set.
